I am interested in most all [*] zines &comics right now. I prefer personal letters when sending in submissions, because I work one-on-one with zine editors. I wont distribute just any old zine, but I am very open-minded and willing to take a look. I will get back to you 99.9999% of the time, unless something happens or you're unreachable.
[*] As with a lot of zine distros out there, I will not accept ; racism, sexism, sizism, ablism, classism, homophobic, or any such publication. I DO enjoy parody and sarcasm to the fullest, and am not at all uptight. [Profanity = love. I don't mind it!] I just don't enjoy pure hatred because of what someone is, stands for, believes in, etc. If you're unsure, send it anyway. I really don't mind.
If I don't accept your zine, please don't be discouraged. I am one person, and my reasons for not accepting it could be something as unrelated to you as not having the funds to take on more zines at the moment. If you aren't accepted, you still have my very best wishes for you and your zine. [Not to be sugary-sweet or anything, but I believe in community.]
When sending your zine for consideration please include ;
• wholesale and retail pricing info, and whether or not you're willing to work with consignment. [Paid every two months, a 60%, 40% split, with the 60% going to you.]
• if not, then the form of payment you prefer [paypal, money order, or distro credit.. or a combination]
• name, email address, home address/p.o. box
• zine info (how many pages, weight (if you know it), if you have a website, etc..)
• why you chose gigglebot distro [optional, but appreciated]
* CONSIGNMENT -- For the consignment form, please the link to the left! If you don't have a printer, just write all the basic things out.
If you sell items along with your zines such as stickers, buttons, patches, etc, feel free to ask me to distro those as well.
I either purchase or 5 or 10 copies of your zine. How many I order depends on the payment you prefer, and how much I want to carry the zine. Although, don't be upset if I only choose 5 ; it could simply be I can't take on 10 at the moment.
IF YOU WANT ME TO DISTRO YOUR CRAFTS OR MUSIC ; With crafts, send at least one picture of the craft (go to the contact page), as well as a description, wholesale & retail pricing info, and anything else. With music : send a picture of the disc, inserts, and mp3s of the actual music, or you can send the actual cd/tape/etc.
There are a few [mild] expectations from zines and such I carry ; Keep me updated. New issues/items, new address, etc. Please also be prompt when I order, I'd do the same for you.
With all of that, send basic details using the form below. If I already have a copy of your zine, I will not request another for consideration, and let you know right away! After I make sure that I don't have it, I'll send you my mailing address.
